This site is dedicated to the memory of Grace Toombs.

Grace Toombs lived a long and happy life. She was a much treasured Mum, Nan, Aunt and a great friend to many people all over the world. She was a kind and generous person who did much voluntary and charity work. It was her wish that we raise money for St Luke's following her passing. To me, she was Nan, Nanny and Nannykins! Somebody who I loved to spend time with, chat to on the phone and write letters and postcards to from my many travels. She was always so enthusiastic about whatever was happening in my life and a huge influence to me. Of the many things I've learnt from Nan, one tip I won't be using is putting whisky in the gravy! Rest in Peace with Grandad, with all my love, your youngest Grandaughter Holly xxxx

Grace was a very special lady, always so interested in everyone.We only knew her for a few years, since our daughter married her grandson and from day one we became part of her family. Her great grandchildren loved her so much and she them. She will be truly missed by so many people. May she rest in peace. Christine & Richard McCann

In memory of my Auntie Grace who was very special to me and always there when I needed someone to turn to. It only seems like yesterday since she came to visit us, we had a lovely time with her. Grace was a truly wonderful friend to me, whom I met through her friend of much longer years, Kaye Skene, so this is from both of us. She will be truly missed but never forgotten. She always thought of others above herself,whether it was family or friends,which of course she had allover the world & of course all the charity work & volunteer she did. A truly wonderful lady.
